Conner High School Band and Orchestra

Conner High School Marching Band

The Marching Conner Cougars have had a tradition of excellence since their years of existence. They have Qualified for the State Marching Band Championships numerous years and reached the Semi-Finalist status on several occasions. They have received numerous distinguished ratings, 1st place awards and the distinction of Grand Champion on multiple occasions. They currently compete in the Mid-States Marching Band Association where they have been the Class AA Championship runner-up on four occasions. The Marching Band performs at all home football games and has performed in the Governors Inaugural Parade. They have also performed at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015. In 2013 the band and orchestra traveled to and performed in New York City.

This year the Conner High School marching band is a AAA Marching Band with 58 members including 5 color guard members. This year is also the first year in many years that eighth graders from Conner Middle School are allowed in the marching band. There are 13 eighth graders and 24 rookies.
